Slot Attendant – Casino Yellowhead/Edmonton, Canada
Slot Attendants are some of our most valuable front line people and assist our slots customers by: Trading bills that aren’t being accepted by the slot machines, paying jackpots/handpays, explaining how the various slot machines work and helping customers with problems, providing information on location of washrooms, restaurants, bank machines, etc. and fixing minor slot machine problems.

Security Manager/Regional Security Manager
Ensure the guest is being provided with superior customer service
Adhering to policies and procedures outlined on the slot floor
Administering hand pay jackpots, bill exchanges with guests, machine maintenance; will include diagnosis of machine malfunctions, ticket game, and game diagnostics
Responsible for balancing assigned daily cash float
Identifying and report counterfeit bills
Responsible for the initial response to customer complaints, claims, and inquiries
Ensuring to be in compliance with AGLC terms and conditions
Monitor and report risk and safety concerns to ensure a safe environment for both associates and guests
Support and communicate with all associates on the casino gaming floor
Daily execution of assigned operational goals and objectives
Ensure the slot floor meets desired presentation for our guests, sections are clean and tidy throughout hours of operation
Maintains a positive and respectful attitude with a “One Team” mindset
Actively promote the Casino’s Players Club
Is flexible and willing to perform duties as workload necessitates
Ability to grasp instructions and adjust to changing conditions
Uphold a team work appearance offering assistance where available or when requested
Maintain an updated AGLC gaming workers license
Any other duties as required
Requirements
AGLC Pro-Serve certification
Able to maintain security clearance
Previous experience working in a fast paced restaurant or bar environment
Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends
Fluent in the English language
Have reliable means of transportation
The schedule for this position may vary and require the ability to work shift work, late nights, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

Work Conditions
Must be able to lift a maximum of 25 lbs. using proper lifting techniques – responsible for stocking non-alcoholic beverages
Must be able to stand for 8 hour periods
Must be able to bend to reach shelves
Must be able to carry a serving tray with drinks/food
Must be able to carry out light cleaning duties
Must be available to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holiday
Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment
