Slot Attendant – Casino Lethbridge
Reporting to the Slot Supervisor / Slot Manager the Slot Cashier will ensure they promote utmost integrity and the highest caliber of customer service. The Slot Cashier will be required to administer/ exchange currency or redemption of TITO tickets. Responsibility of maintaining assigned areas in Slot Cage/Guest Services. The schedule for this position may vary and require the ability to work shift work, late nights, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure the guest is being provided with superior customer service
- Adhering to policies and procedures outlined on the slot floor
- Administering hand pay jackpots, bill exchanges with guests, machine maintenance; will include diagnosis of machine malfunctions, ticket game, and game diagnostics
- Responsible for balancing assigned daily cash float
- Identifying and report counterfeit bills
- Responsible for the initial response to customer complaints, claims, and inquiries
- Ensuring compliance with all AGLC terms and conditions
- Monitor and report risk and safety concerns to ensure a safe environment for both associates and guests
- Support and communicate with all associates on the casino gaming floor
- Daily execution of assigned operational goals and objectives
- Ensure the slot floor meets desired presentation for our guests, sections are clean and tidy throughout hours of operation
- Maintains a positive and respectful attitude with a “One Team” mindset
- Actively promote the PURE Rewards Card
- Be flexible and willing to perform duties as workload necessitates
- Uphold a team work appearance offering assistance where available or when requested
- Maintain an updated AGLC gaming workers license
- Ability to walk for long periods at a time
- Ability to accept responsibility readily
- Maintain a AGLC gaming workers license
- Any other duties as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- Must have cash handing experience
- Able to obtain AGLC Registration
- Demonstrated ability to be simultaneously friendly, courteous, and entertaining
- Excellent communicator – both written and verbal English
- Solid customer service skills
- Self-motivated and works well with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Proven to be detail oriented, reliable, punctual, efficient, and diligent in duties and responsibilities
- Team player
- Must be willing to work all shifts
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
