Trainee surveillance officer – Aspers Westfield Stratford City

We are looking for a Trainee Surveillance Officer to join our established team of Surveillance Officers based at our Aspers Westfield Stratford City site. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate with the long term goal being a successful transition from trainee to experienced surveillance officer within a 12 month period, where you would develop confident communication skills and become an advocate of creating a friendly; entertaining and safe Aspers Casino environment compliant with license conditions, Gambling legislation and SIA CCTV legislation. The fundamental duties of the role will be to provide timely advice; support; guidance and direction with regards to ensuring there is a secure and compliant gaming environment.

Applicants must have extensive knowledge of the Games dealt in the Casino combined with an excellent grasp of customer services principles as the key focus will be to deliver a high quality surveillance service to the Aspers Group Casinos at Newcastle, Northampton, Milton Keynes and Westfield Stratford City. As an Aspers Trainee Surveillance Officer you will work to improve security and minimise risk and losses as well as to ensure the safety and comfort of those patrons visiting Aspers Casino whilst promoting Aspers reputation for honesty and integrity. To be considered for interview the desired criteria would be:

  • A valid PFL holder
  • A minimum of 6 months Experienced Croupier experience
  • Advanced knowledge of the games played in the casino
  • PES Score of 3 or 4 (internal applications)
  • Must have passed 6 month probationary period within Aspers (internal applications)
